September 2025- ENERGY SYSTEMS -an ongoing research thinking platform that provides a space for exploration and exchange of information on the topic of the Microbial Fuel Cell System. Energy Systems is an ongoing collaboration between Professor Ioannis Ieropoulos and interdisciplinary artist Audrey Rangel Aguirre towards the production of new and sustainable energy systems elaborated from the artistic, philosophical and scientific perspective.We have developed together with Artist, Designer and Researcher Jose’ Lopez\HC-(M) Joses Hcm Salitre a new philosophical branding that intends to add philosophical and artistic dimension to scientific insights elaborated through artistic perspective.
April 2025 - Participation at The Sonic Arts Forum at Maynooth University, Co. Kildare nr Dublin on 5th April 2025. Exhibiting the interdisciplinary research project Bioelectrical Fields and Human Microbiomes a collaboration between ecologist, botanist, and bioelectrical composer Michael Allen Z. Prime and Audrey Rangel Aguirre interdisciplinary artist and researcher.

Axis Interactive Installation as part of the ongoing research project Terras Lux is exhibited at the Light is Life Exhibition at the Not For Sale Gallery, London. Axis Installation has been presented as an interactive multi-layered experience for the public, showcasing the research and methodologies of Terras Lux Project as an art/science installation to empower the audience through direct participation and hands on in different aspects of microbiology and biotechnology, soil and energy across scales.

Panel discussion about the use of Light in art practices, presenting the research of the ongoing project Terras Lux, in the frame of Light is Life Exhibition, at the Not for sale Gallery for the International Day of Light 2023 by UNESCO.


FEBRUARY 2023
Participation in Hacking Hearts Scientist in Residence project. A collaboration between the Tokyo Institute of Technology and Central Saint Martins. As part of the launch of the new Grow Lab facility at Central Saint Martins, London. Has been published by Leonardo MIT Press Direct, Volume 56, Issue 1.
